Self-Pay Rates - Not billed through insurance
$100* - 1hr individual counseling session
$120* - 1hr family or couples counseling session
$20** - 1.5hr group session
These rates are based on 53-60 minute sessions. Some counselors do offer 90-minute sessions a x1.5 the 60-minute rate.
$150* - 90-min individual counseling session
$180* - 90-min family or couples counseling session
*We offer a Sliding Scale on a case-by-case basis and client(s) are asked to complete an application and provide basic financial information. If the client is a student who receives any financial support from their parent(s) then the parent's income will be weighed as well.
**Group amount due from each client each week - discounts available for clients who pay for group sessions in full prior to beginning of first group.

Not all of our counselors are in-network with all of the above-mentioned insurances. If utilizing your insurance is important to you, please be sure to review what insurances our counselors are currently accepting in our Counselor Search tool.
We will generally ask for your insurance information prior to your first visit in order to verify
coverage and determine what your co-pay amount will be for sessions.
Collecting your insurance information is done through the completion of our intake paperwork in your TheraNest Client Portal. Typically 1-2 business days following submission of your intake forms you'll receive a follow-up email from our staff detailing your insurance coverage and benefits.
Clients will be responsible for any portion of therapy fees, usually co-pay amounts, not covered by their insurance. The amount of coverage varies from insurance company to insurance company.
We do our best to confirm your insurance information and relay our findings to you, however we find it is often difficult to fully confirm insurance fees and coverage until we have processed your first session. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to be familiar with your insurance benefits and any costs, such as the co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurances your insurance will expect you to pay to your counselor.
We are not able to accept non-PPO/POS Kaiser Permanente plans at this time.
Oasis Counseling Center - Out of Network Provider
Oasis Counseling Center will assist with out-of-network billing. If you have insurance, first determine if you have out-of-network benefits. For those of you who do not speak “insurance” – if you have out-of-network benefits, you can see any therapist you want, but you often have to pay a deductible and a percentage of the fee (often much higher than in-network benefits).
We will work with you to make this affordable, so don’t pass up the option of being able to work with whomever you prefer. If you have questions about this, please feel free to contact us via email or telephone. Oasis Counseling Center will do our best to help our clients with this difficult and confusing process.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
Does my health insurance allow out-of-network providers?
What portion of my counseling sessions will be covered?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Is the amount of coverage different for out-of-network providers?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Benefits from utilizing Self-Pay for Counseling
Although utilizing your insurance benefits is cost-effective, also consider that insurance companies generally require a counselor to assign a diagnosis to you in order to justify paying for counseling sessions. Your level of confidentiality is, to a degree, compromised. Your information is filtered through the system that processes your claim; all those involved in that process have access to the mental health diagnosis your counselor assigned to your claim. Paying for your sessions out of your own funds may be a choice that you prefer if you have concerns about your confidentiality.
Reduced Fee (Sliding Scale)
Reduced fee services are available on a case-by-case basis. We require any clients asking for reduced fees to complete an application to determine their eligibility for a reduction in fees. Applications are revisited at the start of each New Year or major life change (such as pregnancy or job change).
Payment Options
Services and fees are billed within 1-2 business days following each counseling appointment. Oasis Counseling Center requires clients keep an active credit/debit card on file for the purpose of charging due fees. This information is stored in a secure fashion in our HIPAA compliant billing software.
In the event of non-payment the client will be invoiced directly via email. Our counselors reserve the right to delay scheduling sessions if clients have two (2) or more unpaid sessions. Sessions can resume once the balance is paid or a payment plan has been arranged.
Oasis Counseling Center is open to work with you on a payment plan if needed. Email office@oasiscounselingcenter.com to start the conversation. We'll work with you and your counselor to try and find what works best for your situation or help refer you to another agency that can.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $95 no-show/late cancellation fee.
