Our in-person session options will begin on April 4, 2022
Oasis Counseling Center is excited to announce that we will be resuming in-person sessions for those clients interested in doing so! To ensure everyone's safety as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 virus, please review our updated policies regarding in-person sessions with our counselors.
We are requiring clients to be fully vaccinated in order to be seen in-person.
If you have not done so already, we ask that you email a copy of your vaccine card to your counselor and our Office Manager - firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can.
If you're not able to do this, please make sure you bring it to your first in-person appointment so we can make a copy. Note: we will ask you to reschedule if you cannot provide us a copy of your vaccine card.
At this time this Oasis Counseling Center is not requiring clients to have their booster(s). We will, of course, revisit this should the boosters become government mandated or strongly encouraged by the CDC.
Oasis Counseling Center Staff & Counselors are fully vaccinated and most have their boosters at this time. We have 1 Counselor that is unvaccinated at this time and will be navigating their in-person sessions on a case-by-case bases.
We ask each in-person client to wear a mask when entering the building, using our shared restrooms, sitting in our shared waiting room, and walking to their counselor's office. We are now sharing the building with other tenants and they have visitors as well and we cannot attest to their vaccination status.
Each person attending in-person sessions will be required to sign a liability waiver (see below).
We will be taking temperatures of all counselors at the start of the day and of each client prior to their session. We will also ask you if you have any COVID symptoms. If you have a temperature over 100°F or answer yes to having COVID symptoms, we will ask you to reschedule or switch to a telehealth appointment.
OCC will be utilizing HEPA air purifying machines in each counseling room and will be utilizing Odoban, a cleaner that works well against both bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19, in each office between clients. Additionally, we will use Odoban and other cleaners, including Lysol and Lysol wipes on commonly touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, the coffee bar, and the water machine.
